Focus on two classic complications
Featuring the Lange outsize date and a precise moon-phase display, the SAXONIA MOON PHASE combines two classic complications. The symmetric arrangement of the date display at 12 o’clock and the moon-phase display in the top section of the subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock emphasises the elegant design of this timepiece. The intense deep-blue colour of the solid-gold lunar disc is the result of a patented coating process.

The self-winding calibre L086.5 consists of 325 parts; it accommodates the eponymous astronomical complication. The lunar disc with its 852 stars is connected with the hour wheel and therefore always in motion, just like the moon itself. Once correctly set, the display deviates from the true position of the moon by only one day in 122.6 years, assuming the watch runs without interruption.
