Black Magic

Black has the potential to create icons. It is a designer’s favourite because it highlights the pure underlying form. In a wristwatch, a black background combined with bright markers assures high contrast and optimal legibility. The most prominent hallmark shared by the following timepieces is the deep black face of their solid-silver dials. As a perfect setting for gold hands and appliques as well as the Lange outsize date, they showcase the fascinating facets of the darkest colour.

With its white-gold case and black solid-silver dial, the GRAND LANGE 1 radiates distinction and sophistication. Thanks to luminous hands and appliques in rhodiumed gold, the time and the power reserve are highly legible even in the dark. The model’s charismatic elegance is underscored by a hand-stitched black alligator leather strap.

Lange 1 Moon Phase

The LANGE 1 MOON PHASE takes a particularly realistic approach by combining a highly precise moon-phase display with an integrated day/night indication. During the day, it shows a bright blue sky, while at night the laser-cut stars stand out against a dark blue background.

Saxonia Outsize Date

Strong contrasts between light and dark characterise the expressiveness of the SAXONIA OUTSIZE DATE in white- or pink-gold cases. To match the black galvanised solid-silver dial, the discs of the precisely centred outsize date are black and feature white numerals.
